The Gold Country Ranch & Performance Horse Sale is conducted and managed by a committee whose members are well respected in the equine world. Ron Emmons (2013 NRCHA World’s Greatest Horseman), Moses Gonzales & Dr. Jim Garfinkel to name just a few sifting committee members. We have 2 DVM’s & 2 farriers.
Our mission is to hold a sale where breeders, trainers, and exhibitors can market high-quality horses to buyers from all over California, Nevada & Washington. The sale horses have been selected by the committee and screened by a DVM prior to the sale. Every effort is made to sell only the top quality horses out of those consigned.
This premier sale features top quality Ranch, Rope, Barrel and Performance horses, both finished and started prospects.
Starting Thursday, June 1st the horses will go through a sifting process that evaluates the horses for quality, temperament, and soundness for the sale on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
The preview of sale horses will be held in the Event Center at 5:30 pm on Friday, June 2, 2017 in order of draw. An optional roping preview will be provided.
Information on the preview will be available at the sale office.
Horse sale entries close April 21, 2017 by 5 pm.
